Today we depart from the
Baan Rabaeng Mok Resort and we go back to the
family in Lat Krabang.
We have breakfast in the hotel, it tastes better than yesterday because we asked for
something different yesterday, and got it today.
Nice people.
After breakfast we pack our belongings, we are quickly done with that.
And we choose between the
Damnung Saduak Floating Market and the
Amphawa Floating Market to visit on the way.
It's going to be Amphawa.
After paying for the second night and yesterday's food, we leave the resort.
With the help of the navigation on the phone we arrive at the Aphawa Floating Market after
1.5 hours, sometimes over very narrow roads, but we get there and we drive, as we later
notice, directly to the market.
After some questions we find a, paid, parking space.
We walk to the market, which looks a lot like the market of Hua Ta Kee and the Talat Suan
Soong Roi Phi, but much bigger.
Pia wants to take a boat trip and starts talking to a Thai woman who is standing there with
a foreigner.
It is decided to rent a boat together, Tbh 250 per couple, because that makes a difference
and the boats are big enough.
We never realized that Amphawa is an island, but we are really seeing it now.
The first part of the trip goes over the Mae Klong river, nice to see but not very exciting
and fascinating.
Then the boat enters a khlong and it gets more exciting.
Until the next khlong, then it will be fun, but then we are almost at the end of the trip.
Along the water there are houses in old style, which are well maintained, very nice to see.
We then walk a bit on the market and eat a plate of noodle soup.
Pia then buys everything, especially fish and fish products.
We drive on to Bangkok, fortunately it is not busy.
Around four o'clock we are in Lat Krabang.
We unpack the luggage, that's done in no time.
And we decide to eat on the other side of Thanon Chalong Krung at Phon 'Saep' Isaan where
we bought food a few times on the previous
journey and also ate during previous trips.
The food tastes ok, we go back home and we are tired.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
